Shiraishi has been constructively developing and using calcium carbonate for 100 years. Such wide range of usage of calcium carbonate owes to the technologies that provided it in particle shape and even changed its properties in a number of ways. These technologies made it possible to link calcium carbonate with other materials according to needs. They help control the required properties of final products, including the reinforcing of rubber or plastic products, the gloss of paper, and more.
